今天,全球领先的企业级开放源代码解决方案供应商红帽公司(NASDAQ: HAT)宣布在中国市场大力推广全球培训服务(Global Learning Service)。全球培训服务作为红帽对中国市场长期承诺的主要内容之一,致力于为中国培养更多开源软件人才,促进中国开源软件产业的发展。


红帽中国近期开展一系列推广活动,旨在全面提升红帽全球培训服务的内容和响应速度。红帽中国大力增加了本土的师资力量。并在北京、上海、广州、深圳、青岛、武汉、成都、西安八个城市提供直接授课,其中北京总部设立了专门的教室,可供自费培训的人员参与夜班、周末班培训。红帽公司同时还开通了800-810-2100免费咨询电话。


红帽公司在全球范围内独有的免费在线培训评估测试目前已实现了中文化,希望了解自己Linux能力以选择相应课程的人员可以通过免费评估问卷对自己的实际能力进行了解。红帽公司大中华区总经理陈实表示:“希望接受培训但又对自身能力和课程难度缺乏充分了解的客户可以登陆红帽网站接受评估。问卷能够帮助客户选择合适的课程,在日本韩国一经推出已有近千万人次参与了该项评估。”


目前红帽全球培训服务在全球范围内90个城市、企业或机构现场,提供一系列在真实应用环境下进行的培训课程。红帽在中国市场已经开设的培训课程包括:红帽认证技师RHCT、红帽认证工程师RHCE。此外,Linux最高级别的认证培训 - - 红帽认证架构师RHCA课程也将很快推出。从RHCT到RHCA逐级提升,可满足不同知识背景人员的不同需求。

Linux和开源软件市场高速增长,特别是在中国市场方兴未艾,Linux人才的供给存在较大缺口。调查机构Forrester 在今年六月份针对企业决策者所做的调查结果显示: 已有56%的企业决策者表示早已开始使用Linux或开源软件, 19%计划在12个月内开始使用, 只有26%没有相关计划。而在26% 的未计划使用Linux的被调查者中, 67%表示主要的障碍是缺乏具有相关技术能力的员工。


专业的《UnixReview》杂志于2004年经研究指出:“多年来,RHCE为通过这一认证的人带来了尊敬和荣誉。在Linux领域里,RHCE代表了非比寻常的竞争力。去年,红帽推出了比RHCE更为基础的培训课程RHCT认证。尽管RHCT认证要求的水平比RHCE低一些,但与原来的RHCE认证同样受到业界的承认,随着越来越多的系统管理员了解这一培训,RHCT肯定也会普及开来。”
