Learn how

Red Hat and CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform reduce the risk and complexity of hybrid cloud environments by providing turnkey platforms, flexible automation, and comprehensive security that span any environment: on-prem, cloud, edge, and everything in between. Powered by the CrowdStrike Security Cloud and world-class AI, the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform leverages real-time indicators of attack, threat intelligence, evolving adversary tradecraft and enriched telemetry from across the enterprise to deliver hyper-accurate detections, automated protection and remediation, elite threat hunting and prioritized observability of vulnerabilities.

Speaking Session

Security at the Edge: Protecting Critical Compute Assets Wherever They Reside [DEV35]

Date: Wednesday, Sept 18

Time: 12:00 PM -12:45 PM

Edge computing is everywhere, from manufacturing floors and airport terminals to smart cities and military operations — and even your own car. Because edge systems process valuable data and can control physical devices, they represent an emerging target for cyber adversaries. But traditional management and security tools struggle to cope with “the edge” — physically distant, resource-constrained and intermittently connected.

In this session, learn how to build purpose-built edge nodes with Red Hat Device Edge and secure them with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform:

  • Challenges of edge computing for management and security

  • Latest edge operating system advancements from Red Hat

  • Edge-friendly features of the Falcon platform and sensor

  • Demo of building a Falcon-protected Red Hat Device Edge system

This is a moderately technical session for IT and security architects in organizations that are exploring their edge capabilities.

Speakers: Senior Solution Architect, CrowdStrike

Raghu Banda, Senior Solution Architect, Red Hat

SecOps, Meet ITOps: Connecting Falcon to Ansible Automation [DEV32]

Date: Wednesday Sept 18

Time: 3:00 PM - 3:45PM

The Falcon platform already provides a number of integrations and workflows for numerous security platforms and vendors — but what about the rest of your IT estate? IT operations teams have their own tools for automation, incident resolution, configuration management and more. Ansible is the de facto IT automation language for enterprises big and small, and CrowdStrike provides a number of certified integrations between the Falcon platform and Ansible.

Learn how Ansible and the Falcon platform work together to:

Provide deeper remediation capabilities to Fusion SOAR — including automation for on-premises network devices, cloud assets, VMware, Windows, Linux and more

Locate and harden shadow IT resources, such as unmanaged virtual machines

Respond proactively to findings in Falcon Exposure Management

This session will be useful for IT and security leaders who want to collaborate with their organizational peers, or engineers who use Ansible only to deploy the Falcon sensor.

Speakers: Staff Cloud Solution Architect, CrowdStrike
Evan Stoner, Senior Solution Architect, CrowdStrike
Stephen Fulmer, Principal Product Manager, Red Hat
