With over 20 years of experience in designing and delivering transformative products, services and networks, Volkan previously served as Head of Cloud Access Networks at Rakuten (USA), where he played a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge technologies. His career spans senior leadership roles, including Senior Director, Manager and Consultant positions at Tier-1 service providers, satellite communications companies and Fortune 100 enterprises in the US.
Volkan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Science (with honours) from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (with First Class Honours) from Istanbul Technical University.
Anand Venkat is Strategic Director for Regional Telco’s in Red Hat for Singapore and South Asia. He has more than 29 years of telco experience with strategic engagements and digital transformation advisory roles across the Asia Pacific region.
Anand is a design thinker and product strategist, conversant in MIT’s Certified Design Thinking design
principles for new products and services. He specializes in helping Digital Solution providers with their Go-To Market and Adoption Strategies for Hybrid and Multi Cloud models, and their customers.
Wilson Toh is a Principal Sales Specialist in Red Hat’s ANZ Telco Centre of Excellence. He has special interest in the Security area and focuses on the telco segment, product management of automation, cloud native and container virtualization and the multi-cloud including their AI-native processes. He is very passionate about AI security and collaborating with a global team to develop AI Security end-to-end BPFDoor detecting and mitigating evasive malware using various non-Red Hat and Red Hat software. An active member of the TMForum Catalyst AI-Driven finalist award project.
Prior to Red Hat, Wilson was instrumental in the design of a secure, high-performance cloud architecture for the nation's public sector, telcos and banking transformation. His past experience in this area has accelerated Red Hat’s cloud native and automation platform adoption, efficient with security awareness and security posture.
Wilson holds MSc Telecommunications and Information Systems from University of Essex, UK and Security ISC2 CISSP member, and ISC2 ISSMP course certificate, and certified Red Hat OpenShift AI Specialist.
