Red Hat Recognises Strategic UK Partners at Annual Awards

London, UK – 12-11-2012– Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, recently announced the winners of its UK Partner Awards at its 2012 Partner Conference in London. The winner of the Red Hat UK Partner of the Year award was virtualization specialist Kelway. Kelway has enjoyed significant growth largely due to a focused effort on dedicated sales and marketing investment.

The judges based their decision on the following criteria: revenue generated for Red Hat, growth, marketing, capability and investment based on a full year up to the end of July 2012. Other partners honoured for their achievements and commitment to Red Hat were:

•    Irish Partner of the Year – Sabeo Technologies; Demonstrated excellent commitment to Red Hat ecosystem by paving the way for open source in Ireland.
•    Distributor of the Year - Interactive Ideas; Demonstrated outstanding sales and marketing execution and leading domain expertise.
•    Channel Project of the Year - SBE through Highlander Direct; Highlander Direct worked to construct SBE’s new datacentre using Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
•    Best Marketing Campaign of the Year –Interactive Ideas that ran TechXperts workshops to great success.
•    Channel Consultant of the Year – Dhruv Ahuja from Quru; Dhruv wrote scripts to emulate hardware to enable virtualization failover on laptops which impressed Red Hat engineers so much that they requested the code for themselves.
