In our previous article we discussed what a nightmare a sprawl of service tickets can be—placing a huge strain on operations teams and preventing staff from being able to innovate or advance the organization’s business goals because they are so busy responding to failures.
As an organization expands its customer base and global reach and enhances its digital offerings and services, it also increases the need for staff to manage a growing number of platforms and resolve any incidents that arise in the environment. Managing these environments manually is time-consuming and error-prone, and diverts staff from being able to develop applications that add value to the business.
Many organizations have adopted Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and the Dynatrace platform, using its causal Davis AI engine to help address these problems. Dynatrace provides a broad view of hybrid and multicloud container environments, collecting metrics, logs, traces and user experience data to help improve the health and performance of containerized applications, all enhanced by Ansible Playbooks.
Using Red Hat and Dynatrace solutions together, you can automate platform provisioning, use event-driven automation to reduce median time to incident resolution, and enhance intelligent observability throughout the hybrid cloud environment. The optimization between the Dynatrace platform and Ansible Automation Platform lets you determine which events trigger playbooks or rules and to manage automation more intelligently.
Mutua Madrileña, a leading insurance company in Spain, had a middleware department tasked with managing more than 60 platforms. Mutua Madrileña’s increasing commitment to automation helped them increase velocity and get to market quicker, but they needed to make sure they were seeing a strong return on investment and enhancing automation adoption across the company. With Ansible Automation Platform and Dynatrace solutions providing full stack observability and helping them identify and resolve issues more quickly, Mutua Madrileña saw a 50% reduction in service tickets. Full-stack observability and self-healing capabilities helped them improve incident resolution time and reduce service downtime without manually having to prevent, detect, and remediate issues.
The combined Red Hat and Dynatrace solutions helped Mutua Madrileña proactively solve problems before they could impact customers. Dynatrace used together with Event-Driven Ansible triggers an appropriate action, informs the right IT staff, creates an incident, carries out the remediation, and then feeds that information back to Dynatrace to close the loop. With this trusted automation, Mutua Madrileña reduced the complexity of managing their hybrid environments and benefited from better reliability and an enhanced security posture in their application deployments.
Dynatrace offers a source of data-backed truth with its causal Davis AI engine that can extend observability and AIOps across hybrid and multicloud ecosystems. Red Hat and Dynatrace work together to offer solutions that strengthen and enhance each other, so organizations can accelerate innovation, deliver better business outcomes, and reduce time to value.
