Buddy Holtzendorf is an IT executive at General Motors, leading Compute Platform Services with a focus on hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud, and edge computing. He oversees Core Engineering, SRE, and Delivery teams to drive automation, orchestration, and self-service for IaaS and PaaS. Since joining GM in 2013, he has led major insourcing and platform modernization efforts. Prior to GM, he spent 12 years at Dell in leadership roles across SaaS, networking, server, and storage engineering. Earlier, he led large-scale data center deployments and private cloud operations for Fortune 50 clients. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, cycling, fly fishing, and family time.
