Join Ansible technical experts for an in-person, hands-on workshop where you will gain a comprehensive overview of Ansible, followed by a deep dive into Ansible automation controller and how the two work together in typical networking environments.

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

This beginner level workshop covers Ansible automation with respect to routers and switches (Cisco, Juniper and Arista). You’ll learn how to pull facts from devices, build templated network configurations, and apply these concepts at scale with Ansible automation controller. You’ll put it all together by exploring the controller’s job templates, surveys, access controls and more.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP BEST FOR?

This beginner level workshop is best suited for network engineers or folks interested in network automation, as it will cover common network scenarios and topics. Someone who has limited or no exposure to writing Ansible Playbooks or using Ansible Automation.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Network operators, network engineers, system administrators, and anyone interested in network automation.

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Lab materials will be provided
  • Attendees should have working knowledge of using network device CLI as well as a conceptual understanding of network concepts (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.), DevOps, and distributed application architecture
  • Attendees should have working knowledge of using SSH and command line shell (BASH)
  • Attendees must use their own laptop with admin rights and the ability to connect to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud
