OVERVIEW

Join this hands-on workshop to see the value of OpenShift’s security approach, focusing on operationalizing security in environments where traditional security lacks visibility. This workshop will enable practitioners to work better together and empower users with security controls spanning the full application lifecycle, from build, to deploy, to runtime.

  • Understand the Default Secure Behavior of OpenShift and how it differs from vanilla Kubernetes to establish a baseline for secure deployments.
  • Explore Projects & Namespaces as Security Boundaries to develop an effective strategy for isolation and multitenancy.
  • Master RBAC Basics to manage user roles and permissions effectively using the principle of least privilege.
  • Dive into Security Context Constraint (SCC) Limits & Resource Guardrails to enforce security policies and manage cluster resources responsibly.
