Ares is now the second Red Hat Advanced Partner in France, a status which will enable them to benefit not only from the certifications - which are indispensable for a recognised quality of service - but also from the added value of Red Hat's support for customers migrating to Linux.
Ares, who already marketed complete Red Hat computing solutions to their clientele, now have an even larger range of competences, including the Red Hat Network. This allows businesses not only to update their Red Hat infrastructure in a completely secure way, but also to offer a tailor-made service to their customers as well as managing their server centre. Ares' customers will also benefit from added services such as training, advice and help from Red Hat. Ares will increase their staff of certified engineers in order to offer their customers the highest possible quality of service.
With customer satisfaction being their main focus, Red Hat will be concentrating on maximising the quality of their service based on the skills brought by Ares and the know-how of Red Hat. The indirect approach which is favoured by Red Hat requires total commitment regarding the level of skill they offer and this is what Advanced Partner customers will benefit from.
This partnership is based on Red Hat's distribution strategy - a philosophy which brings together the technical experiences of Red Hat and Ares as well as their complementary technical skills.
This new alliance strengthens the policy of Ares, who aimed to become a major contributor of Open Source in France, particularly of Linux from the beginning.

The future looks bright for these two businesses now in partnership and they envisage many projects together. At the top of the list is a massive undertaking: the ARCOLE range which covers the main administrative functionalities of businesses, ranging from the management of accounts, budgets and salaries to reporting to human resources, time management and purchasing are all catered for and certified on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms.
Ares will benefit from a cycle of proactive actions taken by Red Hat, such as general seminaries dedicated to common communication plans or a support in trade shows and other related events.
