Job Fair Follows Event: Red Hat to Expand Boston Development Base

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -
Red Hat (Nasdaq:RHAT), the world's premier open source and Linux provider, today announced that CEO, Matthew Szulik, will join other Red Hat executives in Massachusetts on March 29 to discuss the importance of bringing consumer choice to the software industry. The visit is part of Red Hat's World Tour, promoting Linux to its global customers and community members in Tokyo, Brisbane, Munich, London, Boston and Toronto.

Red Hat to Expand Massachusetts Headquarters

While Massachusetts led the nation with a 6.2% decline in jobs over the past three years, Red Hat has continued to hire programmers in the state, doubling the size of its Westford office in the past 18 months.
