RALEIGH, N.C. -

Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced that nominations are open for its annual Red Hat Certified Professional of the Year awards. "The number of Red Hat certified professionals continues to increase as more enterprises across the globe turn to open source solutions and look to those holding Red Hat certifications to ensure they are getting the most from their Red Hat and JBoss solutions," said Randy Russell, Director of Certification for Red Hat. "Red Hat certifications are earned by passing rigorous practical exams where candidates must perform the real-world tasks required in production environments. We're pleased to once again recognize exceptional Red Hat certified professionals through our Red Hat Certified Professional of the Year awards."
