Øystein Bedin

Øystein Bedin is a Principal Architect with Red Hat's OpenShift Platform Global Services team, where he has been leading complex infrastructure projects since 2014, primarily focusing on OpenShift. He has in the most recent years primarily worked on delivery of solutions for VM and workload migrations to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization. Øystein is also dedicated to upskilling customers, partners and colleagues across the region, ensuring they have the technical insight necessary to efficiently navigate through critical infrastructure transitions and modernization efforts.
Throughout his career, Øystein has gained deep expertise across a broad spectrum of foundational infrastructure technologies, spanning from traditional on-premise data center management to advanced cloud-native architectures. Previously a key member of the Open Innovation Labs team at Red Hat, he specialized in automation and in particular GitOps practices to automate the installation and configuration of core infrastructure solutions - using Red Hat OpenShift as the platform of choice. By leveraging a highly flexible and modular approach, Øystein helps organizations achieve rapid, automated setups that enable them to migrate workloads at scale.
