I’ve got 99 problems, but LLMs ain’t one!
With 83% of organizations moving workloads back to private cloud or on-premises for privacy and cost concerns, AI is no different. But while many of us have explored running local LLMs on our own machine, scaling things up can be quite difficult. From the difficulty of sourcing hardware, to effective model serving and inference, it’s not always quite clear how to self-host models in production.Fortunately, open source has been leading the AI wave, from models to now the serving runtimes underneath. Curious as to how Meta, Google, DeepSeek, and many others support both small-scale and large-scale model deployments on Linux, Kubernetes, and beyond? Join us as we start from a foundation model, compress it to cut GPU requirements by half and boost performance, and inference it with vLLM, a UC Berkeley-based project that’s leading the private and local AI revolution. You might still have 99 other problems, but LLMs won’t be one!

Automation @ Arbetsförmedlingen
An unusual use case driving unusual design choices. Starting with a dynamic inventory sourced from our ServiceNow CMDB, which serves as the backbone for all platform automation. By integrating CMDB data, we automate base configurations and OS patching across all provisioned servers. We enable application teams to benefit from and make use of AAP for managing the servers their application runs on. We face the challenge of balancing autonomy with control. Our solution involves creating separate AAP organizations per application team, each with role-based access managed via self-service Active Directory groups. The approach promotes decentralization while maintaining structure, though questions remain about scalability and governance as more teams are onboarded.

Keynote: Through the AI Looking-Glass: AI Agents and MCP
(Room A)
In Lewis Carroll’s In through the Looking Glass, Alice is transported to a world of inverted logic where rules and assumptions shift dramatically and unpredictably–a world that demands experimentation and strategic navigation to make forward progress. If you’ve attempted to use a large language model (LLM) in an enterprise setting, the uncertainty inherent in this kind of fantastic (shape-shifting) reality might feel uncomfortably familiar. In today’s unprecedented context, one option for developers seeking to mitigate unpredictability is to enlist known AI agents and agentic AI–engaging software applications (or bots) operating in dynamic landscapes, processing unimaginably vast amounts of unstructured data, collaborating in multi-agent workflows, and self-correcting in ever-changing environments. This talk and live demo session is for AI engineers and enterprise application developers and architects who want to explore and harness patterns in building powerful, LLM-infused enterprise applications.
