Ralrigh, NC - —
Red Hat Europe, the leader in developing, deploying and managing open source solutions for Internet infrastructure, announced today the expanded availability of its well-known RHCE training and certification programme, as well as other Red Hat training offerings. Red Hat training is now available in facilities in Dublin, Madrid, Manchester and Rome, in addition to the previously announced locations of Berlin, Essen, Guildford, Hamburg, Milan, Munich, Paris and Stuttgart.
"These new locations extend Red Hat's training and certification programmes to more cities, giving our customers greater access right where they live and work," said Jasmine Huxtable-Wright, EMEA Training and Business Development Manager. "IT professionals and their employers have recognised the value and consistency of the RHCE Programme, as well as our commitment to providing the highest quality
programmes on Linux systems administration, open source applications and development."
New courses include: Apache Web Server, Firewalling, HA Clustering and Embedded System Engineering.
RHCEs must pass a performance-based exam that tests actual competencies in Linux systems and network administration on live computer equipment. Established in January of 1999, the RHCE programme is the most mature industry-standard Red Hat Linux certification curriculum and the only world-recognised performance-based certification programme for any OS.
Over 10,000 people have taken an official Red Hat training course in the RHCE track. More than 4000 students have taken the RHCE Exam, and 2500 have received RHCE certification.
