Red Hat has appointed Israel's leading IT training company, Sivan Ltd., as a certified Red Hat Training Partner for Israel and the Palestinian Authorities areas. Sivan will deliver the full range of Red Hat courses and certifications through its 13 nationwide branches. Red Hat is a leading developer and provider of open source operating system solutions, including the Red Hat Linux operating system.

The agreement will enable Sivan to offer Red Hat's full Linux training and certification curriculum leading to Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) qualification.

Courses will be available beginning December 20th with sessions being initially held in Tel-Aviv and Herzelia with additional cities being added by early 2000. The content of the courses will benefit three primary groups: new users of Linux, systems administrators new to the Linux operating system, and systems administrators and engineers already familiar with Linux.
