OVERVIEW
This workshop is an excerpt of the Platform Engineering Roadshow: a hands-on experience that demonstrates how organizations can increase developer productivity and security posture by adopting a platform engineering mindset. Using Red Hat Developer Hub—part of Red Hat Advanced Developer Suite—participants will deploy an internal developer portal (IDP). The workshop guides participants through a day in the life of a Platform Engineer creating an IDP, from the design phase through to the mature Product-as-as-Platform phase.
What you’ll learn and experience:
- From planning to implementation, you’ll learn how to deploy and administer an internal developer portal using Red Hat Developer Hub to streamline developer tasks such as:
- Creating secure by default applications for Red Hat OpenShift

- Automating tasks through self-service capabilities
By the end of the workshop, you will have:
- Integrated your IDP with an authentication provider and Git hosting provider
- Created secure software templates with continuous integration pipelines using Red Hat Trusted Profile Analyzer and Red Hat Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer to adhere to implement a secure software supply chain and SLSA compliance
