Join us for our upcoming hands-on Red Hat Satellite workshop, designed to deepen your expertise in infrastructure management. Whether you're looking to refine your system configuration or streamline your patching processes, this session offers practical, lab-based experience in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems at scale. You’ll walk away with a solid understanding of how to establish a consistent Standard Operating Environment and effectively curate your software content.

YOU’LL LEARN HOW TO:
Configure Satellite: We will guide you through the essentials of setting up your Satellite instance. You'll gain hands-on experience with lifecycle environments, content views, and repository synchronization to ensure your systems have the content they need.

Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems: Learn the most effective ways to maintain your RHEL fleet. We will demonstrate how to leverage RHEL System Roles to build and deploy a standardized operating environment (SOE) at scale.

Curate content and keep systems up to date: Master the art of content control and large-scale patching. We'll walk you through using the Tracer tool to identify necessary reboots and service restarts, alongside best practices for content filtering.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is ideal for developers, system administrators, and infrastructure architects with a technical background.

PRE-REQUISITES
Lab materials will be provided.

Attendees should have a basic understanding of working with Linux systems and must have a laptop with Chrome 125+, Firefox 124+, Safari 17.3+, or Edge 125+ installed. There is no student prep work required prior to the workshop.
