Fortune - Best Workplaces for Women

Earlier this year, we proudly reported that we were ranked as one of the Best Workplaces for Millennials and one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For. We’re excited to add to our recognitions by Fortune as the No. 41 Best Workplace for Women. To determine its rankings, Fortune research partner Great Place to Work analyzed feedback representing more than 5.6 million U.S. employees. The 75 companies on this list represent the best large workplaces for women. 

Association of Support Professionals - Best Support Websites of 2021

The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) announced the Red Hat Customer Portal as a winner of the Best Support Websites of 2021. The Portal delivers comprehensive product documentation, intelligent troubleshooting tools, security updates, technical support, as well as Red Hat expert and community-powered knowledge—helping customers plan, deploy, maintain, and manage their Red Hat solutions. 

ASP is a global membership organization for customer support managers and professionals. ASP has held this competition for more than 20 years, and winners are scored in 22 different areas by a panel of judges with experience in web support design and implementation.

Stratus Awards for Cloud Computing - Kubernetes category

The Stratus Awards, hosted by the Business Intelligence Group, celebrates companies and individuals that provide differentiated cloud offerings. Red Hat OpenShift Platform Plus took home the top prize in the Kubernetes category. Red Hat OpenShift Platform Plus provides a complete Kubernetes stack out of the box, bringing together everything needed to build, deploy and run nearly any application wherever OpenShift runs. 

CRN’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should List

Have you heard of Red Hat’s global vice president of Midmarket Sales Jennifer Heard? CRN recently named her as someone you should know. Like many channel executives—dubbed “unsung heroes” by CRN—she works tirelessly behind the scenes to support partners. Heard is constantly seeking out new ways to unlock business opportunities with Red Hat in the midmarket. She joined the company in January, bringing experience as channel chief of Turbonomic and 20-plus years with Microsoft.

VentureBeat Women in AI Awards - Responsibility & Ethics in AI Award

The Women in AI Awards honor those who demonstrate exemplary leadership and progress in responsible artificial intelligence (AI). Noelle Silver, Managed OpenShift Specialist in AI/ML, was recognized with the Responsibility & Ethics in AI Award. A champion for public understanding of AI and tech fluency, Silver has launched and established several initiatives supporting women and underrepresented communities within AI including the AI Leadership Institute, WomenIn.AI. and more. She was also a 2019 winner of the VentureBeat Women in AI mentorship award.

Computing UK’s DevOps Excellence Awards

The DevOps Excellence Awards recognize organizations, individuals and solutions with a range of categories covering different stages of DevOps progress. Red Hat and our Open Innovation Labs were selected as the winner of the Best DevOps Consulting Firm category. “We particularly liked a reference to leaving the customer in a position to effectively see a powerful way to scaling the solution, which is something many labs don’t get to,” says one of the judges.

We were also named the Most Innovative DevOps Vendor. This category recognized vendors with industry-leading approaches to working with DevOps as well as a history of DevOps expertise. A Consulting UK representative says this about Red Hat: “Our winner breathes DevOps transformation and culture at scale with a plethora of case studies and examples.” Learn more about our DevOps approach.

Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Future of Work Awards - Best Approach to Human Capital Management (HCM) Innovation

Human Capital Management research and analyst firm Brandon Hall Group recognized solutions that resulted in substantial benefit to business and the human capital management functions. Awards are judged on the following criteria: fit the needs of the organization, design of the program, delivery of the program, measurable benefits, and overall impact. 

Red Hat’s IT Digital Adoption Team was recognized with a Gold award. Red Hat and WalkMe collaborated on an HCM implementation that sparked a complete culture shift. The implementation empowered Red Hat employees to take control of digital adoption across their own work streams by becoming "citizen developers."
