How do you follow a two-day, global event packed with more than 30 Ask the Expert sessions, new product announcements, award-winning customer success stories, and celebrity meet-and-greets? Invite everyone back for more, and make it an even more personalized experience.

We’re gearing up to welcome you to Red Hat Summit Virtual Experience Part 2 on June 15 and June 16. Here’s just a glimpse of what’s in store.

7 content channels for your specific interests

Developers, cloud architects, and CIOs can dive into more content that’s most relevant to their roles with our seven specialized channels. Each channel will have live and aired interactive sessions to match your learning style, including topic-specific Ask the Expert sessions and Breakout sessions.

You can find sessions that interest you most in the Cloud-native development, Developers, and Digital transformation, to Future technologies, Hybrid cloud, IT automation & management, and Partners channels. The session catalog is now available for you to browse and add items to your schedule using the My Agenda tab. (And don't forget there's already a wealth of content from the April Red Hat Summit sessions.)

Questions for Questlove

You might know him as the GRAMMY Award-winning drummer of The Roots or as the musical director of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but in June, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson will take on his newest role as a Red Hat Summit special guest.

Among his many roles, he’s also picked up DJ, producer, culinary entrepreneur, New York Times best-selling author throughout his career. Impressed? So are we, and we’re excited to announce that he’ll be joining us in June to get a little personal by taking on our burning questions. You won’t want to miss out on our Q&A session with one of Philadelphia's most influential hip hop artists turned, well, everything else.

Knowledge-sharing with Braindate

With Part II of our Red Hat Virtual Summit Experience, we’re introducing Braindate, a new way for you to connect with like-minded attendees. Traditional conference networking can often result in a lot of general conversations about where you work and what you do, but Braindate allows you to have deeper knowledge-sharing conversations on focused topics.

Using the Braindate platform, you can schedule a one-on-one or small group conversation by posting about something that piques your interest in the Topic Market. Conversely, you can search, sort, and filter for topics posted by others and join the conversation. Think of Braindate as a marketplace of ideas and take the opportunity to troubleshoot a problem or challenge you’re facing with other participants.

Hands-on problem solving with cloud-native technology practitioners

Working with like-minded peers to solve real business or societal issues is not a novel idea for Summit. In past years, attendees have looked forward to gathering at OpenShift Commons, a community for developers, DevOps professionals, sysadmins and upstream project leads to explore best practices and use cases for Red Hat OpenShift deployments.

On the Main Stage at OpenShift Commons, you’ll hear lessons learned and success stories from end users, like how open source helped address educational disparities for Southern Coalition for Social Justice

Based on the open source community model that creates engaged peer-to-peer connections, OpenShift Commons’ goals extend beyond code contributions. It’s a community that helps enable the success of customers, users, partners, and contributors as we deepen our knowledge and experiences together.

Ready to get personal?

You can register or log back into your Summit account to begin exploring the content we’ve got lined up for Part 2, happening June 15-16, 2021. In addition to personalizing your Summit experience by picking the channel, sessions, and networking opportunities most relevant to your career, we recognize a little “me time” is also important. Don’t worry, our Recharge activities, Red Hat Arcade, and Cool Stuff Store will still be there for you to enjoy this truly global experience in your own way.
