RED HAT CRESCE IN ITALIA

L'azienda leader nell'open source chiude positivamente il primo semestre. Tra gli highlight dei primi sei mesi del 2007 nuovi clienti, un team in crescita ed il pieno successo commerciale dell'offerta JBoss

E' positivo il bilancio italiano di Red Hat nel 2007. Il primo semestre dell'anno in corso ha infatti visto l'azienda, leader mondiale nella fornitura di soluzioni open source, consolidare ulteriormente la propria posizione sul mercato nazionale, in linea con gli ottimi risultati che arrivano dall'estero.

A meno di un anno dal suo ingresso in azienda, Gianni Anguilletti, Country Sales Manager di Red Hat Italia, commenta cosi' i primi sei mesi dell'anno: "Sono successe molte cose in questo inizio 2007, e tutte hanno contribuito a rendere piu' forte e piu' visibile il marchio Red Hat sul mercato. Abbiamo stretto rapporti con le maggiori realta' italiane del mondo finance e delle telecomunicazioni, e siamo stati coinvolti in progetti di alto valore strategico, a testimonianza dell'elevato livello del nostro team di consulenza".

Nel corso del 2007, il team italiano di Red Hat e' cresciuto ulteriormente. Sono quasi venti oggi le persone che lavorano a tempo pieno sul mercato italiano: al team presente in Italia e distribuito sulle due sedi di Milano e Roma, si aggiungono infatti risorse dedicate al supporto commerciale e tecnico, di lingua italiana, che operano dai centri europei di Red Hat.

Dal punto di vista commerciale, Red Hat Italia ha stretto importanti accordi strategici con le piu' grandi realta' del settore banking e telco. La linea di prodotti JBoss e' stata integrata con successo nell'offerta aziendale ed ha ottenuto i primi successi sul mercato. Il progetto realizzato in CSI-Piemonte, che coinvolge sia JBoss che l'offerta tradizionale Red Hat, e' solamente uno dei tanti esempi.

Nel semestre appena trascorso, inoltre, Red Hat ha rafforzato i rapporti con i propri distributori - Magirus e Itway - e i Partner Hardware OEM e ha operato con impegno sullo sviluppo del canale, creando di fatto un ecosistema distributivo in grado di offrire al cliente finale i servizi di eccellenza che hanno reso Red Hat famosa nel mondo.
