The Red Hat Shares newsletter helps IT leaders navigate the complicated world of IT―the open source way.
Red Hat Summit goes hybrid

After two years as a virtual event, Red Hat Summit tried a new look and feel in 2022: As 912 attendees gathered in Boston to watch, listen and learn, another 14,340 tuned in virtually.* This hybrid format marked a new way for us to share advancements in open source, encouraging audiences across the globe to “explore what’s next” (one of this year's Summit themes).
Those who traveled to Boston could network in the Experiential Hall, hang out in the Open Hybrid Cloud Lounge, cast votes in a polling activation or visit the Open Innovation Labs museum, which included a virtual reality experience.
Online attendees could choose from 24 virtual booths, participate in the Our code is open challenge, play games in the Open Source Arcade and get artsy with the #RHSummit photomaker (login required for some of these pages).
A virtual game gave attendees the chance to enter a raffle and win some sweet swag. If you missed it, but still want to score some Red Hat gear, the Cool Stuff Store is always open.
In all, the events included 161 keynotes, interactive and on-demand sessions, demos and Ask the Experts talks. You can watch (or rewatch) Red Hat Summit and access most virtual offerings through December 2022 by registering at no cost.
In this special edition of Red Hat Shares, check out highlights from the event, including featured keynotes, the top 10 on-demand sessions, news and announcements, our award winners and more.
