Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), the foundation of Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud strategy, is trusted by more than 90% of the Fortune 500 and countless others as their preferred, stable Linux distribution with greater security features built-in. RHEL and other parts of the Red Hat Portfolio are deployed in data centers, at the edge and in public clouds. As customers begin their digital journey and plan their open hybrid cloud strategy, they understand that one of the keys of a successful hybrid cloud strategy is to standardize on cloud agnostic platforms such as RHEL and Red Hat OpenShift and work from there.
2023 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™에서 리더로 선정된 Red Hat
Red Hat은 Gartner 2023 Magic Quadrant 컨테이너 관리 부문의 실행 능력 및 비전의 완성도에서 최고점을 획득했습니다.
For this reason, it is common for customers to begin their digital journey with RHEL as their trusted backbone, along with Red Hat Satellite to help deploy and manage hybrid cloud deployments in a more consistent manner. This stretches across private clouds, such as Red Hat OpenStack, to the more than 2,500 Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider clouds across the globe.
At the same time, customers are evaluating their supplier ecosystem to determine not only where the greatest business value comes from but also where and how to consume and deploy these applications. So it should not be surprising that customers that have relied for as much as two decades on Oracle and Red Hat have asked the two of us to support RHEL on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
We’ve listened and we’ve responded, with the announcement that RHEL running on several architectures and shapes is both certified and available as of today. Equally important is the joint support from both Red Hat and Oracle Cloud, giving customers the peace of mind that these two partners are at the ready to help them with any issues they may run into when deploying applications on certified RHEL shapes on OCI.
You can read more about the announcement here or find answers to some frequently asked questions here.
We will continue to listen to what our mutual customers want to see from Red Hat on OCI and will continue to jointly review and respond.
