Red Hat and Microsoft recently commissioned a Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) study that shows the value and return on investment (ROI) of migrating from on-premise Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to RHEL on Azure. This Forrester TEI study is a great validation for customers seeking to migrate RHEL from on premises to RHEL on the Microsoft Azure cloud. Results found that Red Hat customers can expect a myriad of benefits when migrating to RHEL on Azure, including an 80% reduction in data center spend, a 60% reduction in legacy solution costs, an 85% reduction in outage downtime, and a 40% FTE reallocation towards value-add business initiatives.
