According to IDC1, the hyperconverged infrastructure market experienced 76 percent year-over-year growth in the first quarter of 2018. However, the majority of hyperconverged infrastructure solutions in the market today are built upon rigid appliance-based configurations.

By layering in software-defined networking with Open Virtual Network (OVN), and delivering automation using Red Hat Ansible Automation that enables a more streamlined and speedy set-up in as little as 30 minutes and simplified administration via a single user interface, customers are able to consolidate their infrastructure and, ultimately, adopt a software-defined datacenter more efficiently.
