Netzwerk-Backup-Spezialist Arkeia Software wird Red Hat Advanced ISV Partner

Arkeia baut seine Partnerschaft mit Red Hat weiter aus und verstärkt seine Investitionen in Open-Source-Lösungen.

Red Hat, der weltweit führende Anbieter von Open-Source-Lösungen, hat Arkeia Software zum Red Hat Advanced Partner ernannt. Arkeia Software ist einer der führenden Anbieter von Netzwerk-Backup-Lösungen mit Niederlassungen in den USA, Brasilien, Frankreich und Deutschland. Die Mission-Critical-Backup- und Disaster-Recovery-Lösungen von Arkeia sind für Red Hat Enterprise Linux zertifiziert.

Als Red Hat ISV Partner erhält Arkeia einen direkten Zugang zu Tools und Ressourcen, um seine Applikationen optimal auf die Technologien von Red Hat abzustimmen. Ferner profitiert Arkeia von der umfangreichen Vertriebs- und Marketingunterstützung und den Trainingsprogrammen, um Unternehmen zu helfen, den optimalen Nutzen mit Open-Source-Lösungen zu erzielen.

Anfang Oktober gab Arkeia bekannt, dass Arkeia Network Backup in der aktuellen Version 9 bereits Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 unterstützt. Die Backup-Lösung von Arkeia ermöglicht eine umfassende, quellseitige, schnelle und kontextsensitive Deduplizierung.
