New Agreement Enables Ten Art-ni to Integrate and Support Entire Line of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Solutions.

Tokio -

Since its founding in 1997, Ten art-ni has built its business on core technologies such as Java and Linux. Ten Art-ni's company-wide mission is to continually incorporate the most cutting-edge technologies into their offerings while addressing customer business challenges. Ten Art-ni consults pre-development research, analysis, and system design with the objective of closely tailoring systems to each customer's business needs. A partnership with Red Hat was a strategic match for Ten Art-ni.

"Delivering solutions based on customer demand is most important to our success in the enterprise," said Nobuo Kita, President and CEO at Ten Art-ni. "Red Hat Enterprise Linux is recognized as the standard platform for mission-critical business applications. We are now able to integrate, deliver and support this solution for our customer."

Ten Art-ni is an affiliated company of Otsuka Corporation (TSE:4768), a leader in IT system integration and support with more than 5,000 IT engineers and sales representatives nationwide in Japan.

"As a result of this partnership, Red Hat Enterprise Linux will be offered through the strong nationwide sales and support networks of 10 art-ni and Otsuka Corporation," said Masanobu Hirano, VP and General Manager of North Asia at Red Hat. " And we are confident that Red Hat Enterprise Linux will be adopted quickly and extensively nationwide.

Released in May of 2002, Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS has been widely adopted in mission-critical infrastructures. Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS was first in Red Hat's line of enterprise solutions. Recently Red Hat introduced Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES and WS for use on departmental servers and technical workstations. All Red Hat Enterprise solutions are made available as an annual subscription that includes Red Hat Enterprise Network for systems management.

"In close collaboration with Ten Art-ni, Red Hat is responding to high customer demand by delivering a high value, standards-based solution to the Japanese Enterprise market," said Alex Pinchev, president of International Operations at Red Hat. "This marks another milestone in the global expansion of Red Hat Enterprise Linux solutions."
