(Nasdaq:RHAT), the leader in developing, deploying and managing open source solutions, today announced that it has completed a significant expansion of its consulting services staff with the addition of the core open source consulting team who had previously worked at VA Linux Systems [Nasdaq:LNUX]. These consulting professionals will join Red Hat immediately and will operate from Red Hat locations around the U.S.

The open source consulting services target areas where open source technologies can greatly improve the strategic use of IT infrastructure through more effective delivery of business requirements. The expansion of the consulting practice enhances Red Hat's ability to offer a full range and depth of services and support, including:
