OVERVIEW
Join Red Hat® for a hands-on technical workshop with Red Hat Enterprise Linux®. We will cover tips that will help you grow into a Linux power user with helpful learning tools built into RHEL like man and vimtutor as well as tools to increase your efficiency on the command line such as grep and cat.
YOU’LL LEARN HOW TO:
Find information about the tools you use: Learn how to use Vim with Vimtutor and explore documentation with man.
Carry out day-to-day system administration tasks more efficiently: Use cat and grep to work through problems faster.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is ideal for developers, system administrators, and infrastructure architects with a technical background.
PRE-REQUISITES
Lab materials will be provided.
Attendees must have a laptop with Chrome 125+, Firefox 124+, Safari 17.3+, or Edge 125+ installed. There is no student prep work required prior to the workshop.
