It seems there’s a new product or software springing up in the tech world all the time. What’s more, you’re often expected to become your company’s de facto expert and you only have one month to do it. One week. One day. By this afternoon.
Whether it be for a personal project, or for a company-wide transformation, learning new tools can take time and bandwidth that you don’t have. Sometimes, simply finding the correct documentation or piece of content that makes sense to you is a challenge by itself. Everyone has different ways to learn and time available to do it, so what’s the solution?
Getting learning content curated for you
Red Hat Guided Learning is designed to gather learning content, based on your specific preferences, needs, and constraints into a learning plan that is tailor-made just for you. By taking advantage of AI, Red Hat Guided Learning transforms your input—what you want to learn, your level of experience, and your available time—into a structured curriculum that is feasible for you. Whether you’re looking to master a specific Red Hat product or explore a new technology, Red Hat Guided Learning optimizes the experience by prioritizing content formats that suit your learning style. The result is a personalized, focused plan that doesn’t just cover the "what," but provides the most efficient "how" based on your schedule and individual needs.
Fig. 1: The details page of a Red Hat Guided Learning plan generated for a user.
As shown in figure 1, a learner wanted to understand more about virtual machines (VMs) and how they can work with Red Hat OpenShift. The user favored video content and only had a week to dedicate to studying. Using these details, Red Hat Guided Learning’s AI created a personalized curriculum for the user. The plan collects relevant content from across Red Hat sources, and organizes it in a way that allows the user to progress logically through the content in their preferred format.
Things change, so does your plan
Say you’re no longer interested in the subject of your initial plan or are asked to pivot to something else, Red Hat Guided Learning moves with you. You can maintain multiple learning plans simultaneously, allowing you to navigate different skill pathways at your own pace. (Fig. 2)
Fig. 2: The learning plan manager page shows where a user can view all their in-progress and/or completed plans.
As you make your way through your personalized plan, you’re able to track your progress, revisit content you found interesting, or segue into other learning resources. Once it’s completed, you can save the plan for later reference should you need it. The possibilities are vast when it comes to Red Hat Guided Learning. Whether you’re a seasoned programmer or a brand new student, our AI-powered Red Hat Guided Learning can create a plan custom-fit for you at no cost and set you on the road to expertise and success.
