Red Hat erweitert technisches Support-Angebot

Red Hat bietet im Rahmen des Technical-Account-Management-Programms neue Services in den Bereichen Cloud, Virtualisierung und Storage an.

Red Hat, der weltweit führende Anbieter von Open-Source-Lösungen, hat sein Support-Angebot für Unternehmenskunden entscheidend erweitert. Die Technical Account Management Services erstrecken sich jetzt auch auf die Themen Cloud Computing, Virtualisierung und Storage.

Im Rahmen der Red Hat Technical Account Management (TAM) Services steht Kunden ein dedizierter technischer Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung. Er unterstützt sie bei der optimalen Ausschöpfung ihrer Investitionen in Lösungen von Red Hat durch proaktive Beratungsleistungen und Support – sowohl bei strategischen als auch bei operativen Entscheidungsprozessen. 

Red Hat hat sein TAM-Programm im Jahr 2001 gestartet. Bisher war es auf die Themen Plattform- und Middleware-Deployment ausgerichtet. Da Red Hat seit dieser Zeit sein Produktportfolio kontinuierlich erweitert hat und heute auch Lösungen in den Segmenten Cloud, Virtualisierung und Storage bereitstellt, war es nur konsequent, das Service-Angebot entsprechend anzupassen.

Red Hat hat für seine Global Support Services in den letzten Jahren bereits mehrere Auszeichnungen erhalten. So wurde das Red Hat Customer Portal von der Association of Support Professionals (ASP) sowohl 2011 als auch 2012 als eine der "Best Web Support Sites" bezeichnet. Das Red Hat Global Support Services Team wurde zudem als "Leader In Support Excellence" bei den HDI Team Excellence Awards 2011 und als "Top Performer in Enterprise Software Support Services" 2012 in der IDC-Customer-Satisfaction-Studie ausgezeichnet (1).

Die TAM-Services in den Bereichen Cloud, Virtualisierung und Storage sind ab sofort weltweit für Kunden von Red Hat verfügbar.
