Red Hat was recently named by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in the Raleigh, NC region for 2012. Of Red Hat’s more than 4,500+ global employees, more than 800 are based in the Triangle.
Nominated companies were asked to participate in employee surveys, lead by Quantum Market Research, and based on the survey results, winners were selected. Red Hat and 34 other businesses will be honored at an awards event on October 4 and featured in a special section of the Triangle Business Journal print edition October 5.
Red Hat employees enjoy a culture of openness and transparency embraced by everyone at Red Hat, including president and CEO, Jim Whitehurst. Whitehurst recently told Inc. magazine that at Red Hat employees are the inspiration and a key job of the leadership team was supporting that inspiration. Aside from culture, employees enjoy unique work projects that stimulate creativity and innovation.
Here’s to all Red Hat employees for making Red Hat such a special place to work and capable of achieving such an award.
