We’re happy to share that Red Hat was recently recognized as the Software Company of the Year by the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA). The NCTA is a state-wide association whose mission is to promote North Carolina as a technology leader on a national and global scale. NCTA President and CEO Brooks Raiford presented the organization's top honor to Red Hat during the group’s annual NCTA 21 gala held in November.
The event honored companies and individuals who demonstrate excellence in technology and business. This award recognized Red Hat for making a significant contribution, over the past year, to the tech sector, community and state. Red Hat CIO Lee Congdon attended the event to accept the award on behalf of Red Hat.
Red Hat was also honored by the NCTA in 2010 as the Best Public Tech Company and in 2009 as the Large Tech Company of the Year.
