Red Hat Hosts Future of Open Hybrid Cloud Event in Seoul

Highlights new product and technology updates to accelerate innovation across bare-metal servers, virtual environments and public and private cloud infrastructure


Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, hosted today a conference titled "The Future of Open Hybrid Cloud" in Seoul to share the company’s open hybrid cloud strategy and discuss the recent launches of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat OpenShift 4.

Stefanie Chiras, vice president and general manager, Red Hat Enterprise Linux at Red Hat delivered a keynote speech on "The Open Foundation for the Enterprise Hybrid Cloud." Martin Klaus, senior director, Cloud Platforms at Red Hat and Brendan Paget, senior principal product manager at Red Hat introduced OpenShift 4 as the IT industry’s most comprehensive enterprise Kubernetes platform and presented the strength of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, the operating system built for the hybrid and multicloud world. The keynote session introduced Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud strategy and technology and business insights around cloud-native applications and Kubernetes. Red Hat executives also offered the direction and detailed ways organizations can move to hybrid cloud with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat OpenShift 4 alongside a technical demo and actual customer cases.
