As modern applications transition to microservices-based architectures, the need for a platform that facilitates both development and operations tasks becomes more critical. Developers can use probes to monitor their applications and be made aware of events that can vary from status to resource usage and errors. This monitoring is useful for fixing problems, but can also help with resource planning and managing.
