Modernization at scale with Migration Toolkit for Applications

Jump to section

OpenShift has traditionally been seen as a platform for microservices. But more businesses are using it to modernize their legacy applications. Doing so avoids the need to rearchitecture or rewrite these applications. The key challenge is often the sheer size and variety of their legacy application portfolio.

Enter the Migration Toolkit for Applications (MTA), a downstream distribution of the CNCF sandbox project Konveyor, aimed at helping organizations safely and predictably bring their traditional workloads into OpenShift and leverage cloud native technologies.

Join this Skills Builders webinar to learn more about how MTA can help your organization to:

  • Manage large application portfolios and defining the appropriate mix of  migration strategies.
  • Provide insights for  architects leading the modernization initiatives so they can make informed decisions.
  • Guide developers on what needs to be changed and how to perform those changes, while also providing some degree of automation.
  • Reduce risks and establish measurable and predictable processes.
