Get hands-on with a hybrid MLOps platform in our Private Model as a Service workshop
Red Hat OpenShift AI provides a Models-as-a-Service architecture that enables centralized model management, secure API gateways, and developer-friendly access without GPU complexity. This hands-on workshop rotates participants through three personas: as a developer, access model credentials and integrate AI code assistants into your workflow; as an SRE/DevOps practitioner, explore agentic AI with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to interact with OpenShift and Slack using natural language; as a decision maker, monitor model usage analytics with Grafana to understand cost, capacity, and business impact.

Know before you go: Operations, developers, and data science practitioners taking part in these hands-on lab should have these suggested tools and knowledge of these areas.
- A laptop computer running Windows, MacOS, or Linux with the Firefox or Chrome web browser.
- Entry-level Kubernetes concepts
- A general understanding of Linux containers (e.g., Docker, CRI-O, etc.).
- General knowledge of AI terminology (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, foundation models, etc.).
- No AI experience is required.
