Il contratto prevede la fornitura da parte di SAP di soluzioni ERP efficaci basate sulla piattaforma Red Hat. Red Hat Enterprise Linux e' l'unica piattaforma per server e workstation ad aver ottenuto la certificazione governativa di sicurezza OUD4+/NDV4 in Russia (paragonabile ai criteri di certificazione Common Criteria) che conferma la conformita' ai rigorosi requisiti governativi in materia di sicurezza ed e' in grado di gestire informazioni governative riservate.
Attraverso i loro partner, VDEL e Red Hat offriranno agli utenti SAP esistenti la possibilita' di migrare ad una piattaforma sicura tramite una speciale proposta di upgrade.
