La nuova versione, JBoss Enterprise BRMS 5.3, è una piattaforma completa per lo sviluppo e l’automazione dei processi di business, che offre il supporto integrato per Business Rules Management, Business Process Management (BPM) e Complex Event Processing (CEP). Essa consente una completa automazione di procedure e policy mission critical, e il rilevamento e la reazione in tempo reale agli eventi di business. JBoss Enterprise BRMS 5.3 è una soluzione open source basata sull’innovazione favorita dalle communità Drools e jBPM, che offre processi di business intelligenti ed automazione delle procedure decisionali ad aziende di medie e grandi dimensioni di tutto il mondo. Parte della piattaforma di integrazione di Red Hat, JBoss Enterprise BRMS 5.3 si integra con le recentemente annunciate piattaforme JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6 e JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform 5.3, aggiungendo automazione dei processi di business, processi decisionali intelligenti e trattamento degli eventi aziendali alle applicazioni già in funzione su queste soluzioni.
JBoss Enterprise BRMS 5.3 include il processo decisionale attivo “situationally-aware”, per il quale la soluzione è nota, e lo migliora con l’aggiunta di diverse nuove feature, tra le quali:
BPM – JBoss Enterprise BRMS 5.3 introduce le nuove funzionalità BPM jBPM 5, un engine workflow flessibile basato su Java che migliora ampiamente visibilità e agilità delle logiche di business. jBPM 5 supporta il ciclo vita del processo di business, dall’authoring passando per l’esecuzione, il monitoraggio e la gestione. Inoltre, JBoss Enterprise BRMS 5.3 supporta lo standard Business Process Modeling Notation 2.0 (BPMN2). Dispone di funzionalità di modeling dei processi di business e d’esecuzione e una perfetta integrazione con le regole di business tramite un potente motore BPMN2.
