Event overview:

Accelerate your cloud journey with Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®. This complimentary, hands-on workshop is specifically designed to equip on-premises administrators with the essential skills for successfully deploying and managing RHEL across any public cloud environment. We will cover cloud basics and dive deep into topics to ensure a smooth transition.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • Achieve Hybrid Cloud Consistency: Discover how RHEL provides a single, high-performance operating foundation optimized to deliver consistent, manageable results for all your applications across hybrid and multicloud setups.
  • Master Your Subscription Strategy: Analyze the requirements, benefits, and potential pitfalls of 'Bring Your Own Subscription' (BYOS) versus the pay-as-you-go model to ensure cost-effective RHEL deployment in the cloud and avoid unnecessary costs.
  • Hands-on Image Customization and Deployment: Go beyond default images. Get hands-on experience using image builder and other tools to create, customize, and deploy your perfect RHEL images on your cloud provider, whether starting from your cloud provider’s console or building from scratch.
  • Streamlined Management with Red Hat Tools: Learn how to seamlessly manage and monitor RHEL instances in the public cloud using built-in tools like Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Lightspeed, and automation. This includes a hands-on look at the remote host configuration tool.
