Bradesco transforms its IT ecosystem using Red Hat’s integrated solutions

Known as one of the largest banks in Brazil and Latin America, Bradesco is undergoing a comprehensive digital transformation of its IT infrastructure, encompassing its practices, protocols, and technologies. Over the past few years, the IT department has expanded alongside the scope of its operations, transitioning from a traditional on-premises environment to a hybrid cloud that integrates modern technologies, managed clusters, and thousands of microservices. This strategic shift aims to orchestrate multiple environments, make them broadly available, and strengthen the bank’s security by standardizing internal protocols for large-scale operations. The next phase of Bradesco’s digital journey was enabled by a robust set of solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift Plus, Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), a cornerstone of the transformation that supports continuous operations for more than 70 million customers. Looking ahead, Bradesco plans to further increase the automation of cluster management processes, ensuring safety, performance, scalability, and financial efficiency while meeting internal demands and enhancing the customer experience.
