Red Hat encourages all candidates for Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Atomic Host Container Administration exam (EX270) to consider taking Managing Docker Containers with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host (RH270) to help prepare. Attendance in this class is not required, and you can choose to take just the exam.
While attending Red Hat's classes can be an important part of your preparation, attending class does not guarantee success on the exam. Previous experience, practice, and native aptitude are also important determinants of success.
Many books and other resources on system administration for Red Hat's products are available. Red Hat does not endorse these preparation guides for any exams. Nevertheless, you may find additional reading helpful to deepen your understanding.
This exam is a performance-based evaluation of a candidate’s ability to use Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host to deploy and manage container-based applications. Candidates will be required to install and configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host systems and then deploy existing container-based applications on those systems. Candidates will be evaluated on whether they have met specific objective criteria.
