Red Hat, the market leader in open source Internet infrastructure solutions, has announced an extension of its strategic alliance with Dell Computer Corporation with the launch of bundled Red Hat Support offerings for Dell Customers. Dell Customers will now be able to purchase a range of Red Hat Services direct from Dell, including:-
Annual per server support
Red Hat will provide one year of technical support for any Dell server running Red Hat Linux. Support will include unlimited access via telephone or the web for installation, basic and advanced configuration and systems administration as well as one year of software updates via priority ftp access.
For customers with large numbers of servers Dell will also offer the opportunity to purchase a dedicated technical account owner.
