Ceph Community Announces Call for Papers for First-Annual Cephalocon

Leaders from the Ceph Community to host three-day event to promote The Future of Storage

The Ceph Community, the worldwide collection of developers working to build the popular Ceph software-defined storage project, today announced that the call for papers for the inaugural Cephalocon is now open. Cephalocon is taking place August 23-25, 2017, in Boston.

Through collaboration and cooperative development with Red Hat, Intel, SanDisk and others, the Ceph project has pushed the cutting edge while providing the reliability that enterprise users demand. Cephalocon will be an incredible forum for all Ceph community members to discuss solutions, share experiences, and explore The Future of Storage.

Building on the momentum from Ceph Days and virtual Ceph Developer Summits, the inaugural Cephalocon aims to bring together more than 750 attendees from around the world for community building, cross-company collaboration and compelling sessions led by visionaries in the storage industry. The theme, The Future of Storage, will showcase Ceph’s history and its future, explore real world applications and highlight solutions from vendors in the Ceph ecosystem.

During the event, the Ceph Community will provide a wide range of opportunities to learn about Ceph, its ecosystem of contributors and vendors, and cutting edge technologies that represent the future of storage. The event will include keynotes from industry leaders, hands-on training, vendor showcases, multiple-tracks and evening entertainment.

The Cephalocon call for papers will close on Friday, May 5, 2017. For more information on the call for papers, or to make a submission, visit:
