JUDCON 2012: China Call for Papers Now Open

Red Hat, Inc., the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced it will host an Asia Pacific JBoss User and Developers Conference (JUDCon) November 29-30, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Sun Palace in Beijing, China. This event follows successful events in Boston, London and Bangalore.

 

“We’re very excited to host one of the industry’s foremost open source developer conferences, JUDCon, in Beijing,” said Mark Little, senior director of middleware engineering, Red Hat. “The development community in the Greater China region is expanding and we’re looking forward to both learning from that community and giving them a unique, hands-on opportunity to dig into what’s going on with JBoss and open source middleware.”

 

According to a 2011 study on Global Developer Population and Demographics by Evans Data Corporation, the number of software developers worldwide is expected to grow from 16 million today to over 20 million in 2015, with the hottest areas for growth projected to be in India, China and Russia.

 

The Beijing event, which will be the second JUDCon in Asia Pacific in 2012, will span two days and feature three tracks packed with valuable sessions, Birds of a Feather workshops, and an evening of exciting events. Presentations at JUDCon include a range of deep perspectives into JBoss technologies and related topics of user and developer interest.

The JBoss Users and Developers Conferences are developer gatherings held around the globe to give JBoss technology users, contributors and core developers the opportunity to learn, network and collaborate with one another.
