Manage your Red Hat Enterprise Linux estate at scale with Red Hat Satellite

Join our Red Hat®  experts for a hands-on introduction to Red Hat Satellite, an infrastructure management product designed to help you effectively manage your Red Hat Enterprise Linux® systems at scale.

The workshop is ideal for new users of Red Hat Satellite and will cover the fundamentals of:

• Configuring Red Hat Satellite with a walk through on setting up lifecycle environments, content views, and synchronizing repositories to provide content.
• Creating a standard operating environment (SOE) with Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Roles and automatically applying the SOE to your systems at scale.
• Curating content and keeping systems up to date with the Tracer tool, which checks for reboots/service restarts, as well as content filters and patching.

Who should attend?

This workshop is ideal for Developers, System Administrators, and Infrastructure Architects with a technical background. Attendees should have a basic understanding of working with Linux systems.

Pre-requisites:

Attendees must have a laptop with Chrome 125+, Firefox 124+, Edge 125+, or Safari 17.3+ installed. There is no attendee prep work required prior to the workshop.
