Join Red Hat® for a hands-on technical workshop with Red Hat Enterprise Linux®. We’ll cover Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Roles, which are a collection of supported Ansible roles that ensure consistent workflows and streamline the execution of manual tasks.
YOU’LL LEARN HOW TO:
- Create users and groups securely
- Manage permissions and local sudo rules
- Modify SELinux permissions
- Configure system integrity with aide
- Define an allow list of permitted applications using fapolicyd
- Define a basic security automation policy in a playbook
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is ideal for security practitioners, developers, system administrators, and infrastructure architects with an intermediate technical background.
PRE-REQUISITES
Lab materials will be provided.
Attendees must have a laptop with Chrome 125+, Firefox 124+, Safari 17.3+, or Edge 125+ installed. There is no student prep work required prior to the workshop.
