Human trafficking detection in the emergency department

Learn about an automated workflow that runs on Red Hat® OpenShift® and is integrated with the Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system to evaluate the risk that a patient seen in the emergency department (ED) is a human trafficking victim. The registrar, nurse, and practitioner are prompted for information as they complete the patient record. The system saves ED personnel from having to use separate instruments as the patient moves through registration, triage, examination, and discharge.
