Scott McGregor

Scott currently operates as a Senior Security Architect at SAS, focusing on container security and security automation.

He has 14 years of industry experience, operating in various capacities of the software development lifecycle. These include but are not limited to software testing, software development, security automation, and security product management. 

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and his Master of Science in Software Engineering from East Carolina University. Scott is also a certified cloud security professional (CCSP), a certified secure software lifecycle professional (CSSLP), and holds the Cloud Security Alliance certificate of cloud security knowledge (CCSK).

While not engaged in engineering or security-related work, Scott is a published portrait photographer who enjoys creating stories and capturing special moments.
