Alison became a fan of Red Hat Linux as a hobbyist in high school. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, she turned her hobby into a career as a pioneering Linux systems engineer. Alison’s dream of joining Red Hat came true in 2012, and within a few years, she found her dream team, too: Information Security. After working her way up to Principal Information Security Analyst, Alison moved into management, where she currently leads the Incident Response team in North America.
