The Triangle Business Journal recently honored Red Hat’s Katrinka McCallum as a 2012 Women in Business Award winner. McCallum, along with 25 other award recipients, was recognized by the Journal for her outstanding leadership as well as her business and community accomplishments. The 26 award winners were selected from more than 140 candidates and were celebrated at an event held in Raleigh on Thursday, August 23.
McCallum joined Red Hat in March 2007. She currently serves as the vice president of business operations for the Platform Business Unit where she is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, operational effectiveness for commercialization of platform products, and analyzing performance and productivity. In her 5+ years at Red Hat, McCallum has served as the vice president of cloud ecosystem, the vice president of management solutions, and the vice president of investor relations.
